Here you can find familiar local food like fried kway tiao and milo dinosaur. The price is a bit high though.
If you like to read and buy Chinese books, you should come to Fuzhou Road (福州路). There is this huge bookstore called 上海书城 where you can find lots of Chinese books of almost all categories.
