Yu Long Fang (豫龙坊) is a shopping centre just opposite the Cheng Huang Temple (城隍庙). You can find a food court just like Singapore's style at the basement of the shopping centre.

I first came upon rbt (仙踪林) restaurant/cafe in 2001 when I was in Beijing. What attracted me then was the use of swings in the restaurants. I found it refreshing then. During this Shanghai trip, I came across it again. I found out later that it was started in 1996 in Hong Kong and by the way of franchising, it is now available in countries like Taiwan, China, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Philippines etc.

You can find Singapore's very own Crystal Jade Restaurant (翡翠酒家) in Shanghai. Its Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) is rated the best in lots of reputable travel books. The above branch is in the Hong Kong New World Tower at the corner of Huaihai Road and Madang Road.

I strongly recommend Saizeriya restaurant for its good and cheap Italian food. You can find one of the branches here in Foxtown (飞洲国际广场). Simply delicious!
