The Jigoku Dani Loop Course

This is the famous Jigokudani/ Hell Valley (地狱谷). It is an old crater created by an explosion about 10000 years ago. Boiling water, water vapour and volcanic gas are emitted from deep in the ground. The Jigoku Dani Loop Course is 568m long, 10 min on foot.
